AS Roma surrendered a two-goal advantage as Inter Milan mounted a second-half comeback to secure a dramatic 2–2 draw at the Stadio Olimpico. The result kept both sides unbeaten and level on 13 points after five Serie A matches.
Roma made the perfect start, with Manu Koné opening the scoring in the sixth minute before doubling the advantage in the 37th minute. The Giallorossi entered halftime 2–0 ahead after a commanding first-half display.
However, Inter responded immediately after the break. Lautaro MartÃnez pulled one back in the 46th minute, giving the visitors renewed momentum. The Argentine striker completed his brace in the 79th minute, restoring parity and completing another impressive comeback for the Nerazzurri.
Roma pushed for a late winner, but Inter held firm to claim a valuable point. The draw marked the first dropped points of the league campaign for both teams, while Roma remained top on goal difference with Inter level on 13 points.
For Roma, the performance underlined their attacking threat but also showed how quickly a comfortable lead can disappear against elite opposition. Koné's brace appeared to have put them in control, only for MartÃnez's second-half intervention to transform the contest.
The 2–2 draw leaves the Serie A title race finely poised in the early stages, with Roma and Inter continuing to set the pace after five matches.
