The Malaysia ,Sepang Grand prix held on 4th October,2026 saw Max Verstappen record his first win of the season. Max Verstappen finished first,Kimi Antonelli finished second and Lewis Hamilton finished third.
The Sepang circuit was hard to race on due to the heavy rain that fell before the start of the race . The heavy rain made the drivers and their teams to Gamble on which tyres to start with. These event made some drivers to start of well especially those who chose the intermediate tyres while made others especially the Ferrari team which chose the slick tyres to start worse. At a point Lewis Hamilton was 18th on the grid but he came back stronger.
Max, Lewis and Kimi were at pole at the start of the race as first, second and third respectively. The race events made some important drivers to fall out from the race especially George Russell who suffered a suspected power-unit failure making him to stop racing thus causing him to fail earning points in the race. Valteri Bottas also had a problem and fall short in the race causing a safety car which helped Verstappen massively. Lando Norris lost control of his McLaren and went to he gravel as hews behind his teammate Piastri thus causing him to finish p9.
Max win his first race of the season and record 72nd win as first . Antonelli finishes second and Lewis Hamilton finishes third even after his scary start. Kimi still remains first in the driver Standings followed by Russell and Lewis third.
