Chelsea was left stunned after they were stunned at the Gtech stadium after Brentford thrashed them by 3 goals to nil last night.
Chelsea seemed quite the better team in the first half and as the game came to a finished, they were by far the dominant side.
The second half came and changes seemed to have taken place as the blues seemed to be more open and the midfield battle was not being won.
Brentford sat and were very quick to the counterattack and just after past the half hour mark, the bees stung the blues by a goal from Anthony.
In the 83rd minute the bees went 2 nil up following a goal from Igor Thiago, this is after a Kevin was played with a beautiful through ball from Damgaard, which then forced a brilliant save from Emi Martinez but the rebound came to the path of Igor Thiago who did not hesitate.
This then followed with an intense spell of attack from Chelsea who failed to capitalize on their chances since Brentford were so organized defensively.
Cole palmer had the clearest chances on goal as he went through a lot of bodies to try and get a shot away but was denied by a brilliant block from the organized Brentford defense.
With this result Chelsea have now conceded in each of their first five premier league games of the season with 2+ goals conceded in each.
After the result Chelsea sit seventh at the table with seven points and Brentford Third with nine points.
But there is time for correction as the international friendlies commencing in the coming days, Chelsea will hope to have their main players fit as the tough round of fixture begin for them.
