Marvel’s VisionQuest Set to Complete WandaVision Trilogy on Disney+
Marvel Television is preparing to bring its television trilogy centered on characters from WandaVision to a conclusion with VisionQuest, the upcoming Disney+ series focused on the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Vision. The series is scheduled to begin streaming on October 14 and is being positioned as the final chapter of a storyline that began with the acclaimed WandaVision series.
WandaVision, which debuted on Disney+ in 2021, introduced audiences to Wanda Maximoff and Vision in a reality shaped by Wanda's powers and grief. The series explored Vision's death, Wanda's creation of an alternate reality and the eventual destruction of the Vision she had created. Its events became an important part of the wider MCU and set up several unresolved questions surrounding Vision's identity and future.
The story continued with Agatha All Along, which followed Agatha Harkness after the events of WandaVision. The series expanded the supernatural side of the MCU while maintaining connections to the earlier show. VisionQuest now brings the trilogy back to Vision, providing an opportunity to explore what happens to the character following the events that left his identity and memories fundamentally changed.
The new series is expected to examine Vision's search for answers about who he is and where he belongs. Details about the plot have been kept relatively limited, with Marvel maintaining secrecy around major story developments ahead of the premiere. The project is nevertheless expected to build on elements established in both WandaVision and Agatha All Along.
VisionQuest is part of Marvel Studios' continuing expansion of MCU storytelling across Disney+. By developing interconnected television stories around characters introduced in earlier projects, Marvel has increasingly used its streaming series to explore storylines that extend beyond the events of its theatrical films.
The October 14 release will mark the next stage in Vision's journey while bringing the trilogy that began with WandaVision toward its planned conclusion.
